THE BLACK DOT ISSUE NO. 01 · NOOR
Every Friend piece carries a single black dot. It is easy to miss and impossible to forget once seen. The Black Dot Issue follows that dot through the chapters of the journey, one issue at a time.
Issue No. 01 opens with Chapter 2: Noor.
The journey begins with a question: Where is the gem?
Noor is where the answer first appears. Not an introduction, but a remembering. Friend was always there, waiting to be seen.
In Noor, the black dot stops being a detail. It grows until it becomes the form itself: black circles held within fine frames of gold, a rising dome, the face of a signet, a band lined with dots. At the centre of each sits a single diamond. Noor means light—the light that was always there within the dark.
The chapter rests on a single contrast: black and light. The dark does not hide the diamond; it is what allows it to be seen.
On every piece, the Friend signature is worked by hand and placed differently. No two Noor pieces are alike.
A quiet, familiar presence.
Next issue: Chapter 3, Bond.
